PROGRAMME
Introduction: Kalliopi Agapi Agapiou-Iosifidou, Associate Professor, University of Cyprus
Moderator: Kyriakos Pierides, Journalist, OPEK Board Member
Participants will engage in a discussion focusing on two questions:
- How the EU benefits my country
- How the EU benefits my life
Give us your opinion here
https://forms.gle/HQcZCNpJv5x4VN4E8
Rationale:
The European Union is already more than 70 years old.
What benefits has your country gained from its participation in the European Union?
Has it improved as much as it should have, stagnated or gone backwards?
The students will present positions on the benefits they gain as young people and develop their critique of what bothers them and what they want the EU to do differently and better.
The event is part of the European programme “We Together”, which aims to increase citizens’ participation in European life and the upcoming European elections.
